2023 Ferrari Roma Spider

After presenting a special edition Ferrari Roma for the Chinese market at the beginning of the year, last week the Italian car manufacturer unveiled a new version of this model, the Ferrari Roma Spider.

The Roma Spider is a little heavier than the CoupĂ© version, but that doesn’t stop the 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 620 hp (456 kW) at 7,500 rpm and 560 lb-ft (760 Nm) of torque at 3,000 to 5,750 rpm, propels the car to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.4 seconds, equal to the CoupĂ©’s result. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Fans of Ferrari’s Coupe editions are delighted with the Maranello-based company’s decision, according to which the hard folding roof concept has been replaced this time with a traditional canvas multi-layer roof that lowers/raises in 13.5 seconds at the touch of a button (at a speed of up to 60 km/h).

With this car, Ferrari will continue the story that began with the California and Portofino models. The price has not yet been announced.
