1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary is up for auction

The year 1971 was a turning point in the development of the Italian car manufacturer Lamborghini, which then showed that it would be far ahead of the competition when it comes to design. Leading the way was the Lamborghini Countach, a car with a futuristic design. It was this model that served as the basis for marking the company’s 25th anniversary, so in 1988, the limited edition Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary arrived on the market. One of them, a 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary, was owned by Rod Stewart and is now being offered at auction.

This exceptional example is finished in black, is in excellent condition and has only had three owners so far. It is equipped with carbon and Kevlar body panels, gradually inclined air intakes with longitudinal fins, an integrated rear bumper, and revisions to the front fascia, engine cover, sills, scissor doors, NACA ducts blended from the doors to the quarter panels, straked brake vents , and pop-up headlights, V-shaped rear wing and front bumper (European-market). There is also fully independent suspension with coil springs and telescopic shock absorbers and four-wheel ventilated disc brakes.

Inside, the adjustable seats are upholstered in black leather that also covers the dashboard, door panels and center console. Additional equipment includes electronic climate control, an Alpine CD stereo, power windows, and a gated shifter. The clock shows 11,692 kilometers (7,300 miles).

Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary is powered by a 5.2L V12 engine with 449 hp (334 kW) and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque. It was possibly the fastest variant of the Lamborghini Countach, accelerating to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 183 mph (295 km/h). Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a ZF 5-speed manual transmission. It sits on multi-piece 15″ OZ Racing wheels wrapped in 225/50ZR15 front and 345/35ZR15 rear Pirelli P Zero Asimetrico tires.

The car has a clean Carfax report that shows no accidents or other damage. It comes with factory books, tools, a copy of the previous California title in Rod Stewart’s name, service records, and a clean Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC.

The auction ends on March 14th and the current highest bid is $326,000 USD.

1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary is for sale

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Countach, in 1988 Lamborghini created a special edition of this model. It was produced until 1990 and only 657 cars left the assembly line. One of them, the 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary, is up for sale.

Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary is powered by a 5.2L V12 engine with 449 hp (334 kW) and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque. It was possibly the fastest variant of the Lamborghini Countach, accelerating to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 183 mph (295 km/h). Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a ZF 5-speed manual transmission. It has only 102 miles (164 km) on the odometer.

The car is finished in original Bianco White, well maintained and in excellent condition. It is equipped with independent suspension with unequal length wishbones (front) and lower reversed wishbone (rear), coil springs, telescopic dampers, anti-roll bar, ventilated disc brakes with 4-piston calipers. It was posted on O.Z. Racing wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero tires.

Inside, the seats are upholstered in Blue leather with White contrast piping. Blue leather also covers the panels on the iconic scissor doors, dashboard, center console, armrest and ceiling. It is equipped with power windows, Alpine stereo and has tinted glass.
