AMG GT63 RIIIx based on the Mercedes-AMG GT63 S 4-Door Coupé

The American company Renntech is known for performance modifications of Mercedes-AMG cars, and this time it presented a limited edition AMG GT63 RIIIx based on one of the most powerful cars of the Stuttgart-based company, the Mercedes-AMG GT63 S 4-Door Coupé.

The car is powered by a 4.0L V8 engine with more than 1,196 hp (880 kW) and 927 lb-ft (1,257 Nm) of torque. This significant increase in power compared to the most powerful GT63 S 4-Door Coupé (843 hp /620 kW) is achieved thanks to new turbochargers, a new air intake system, a remapped ECU and a better adaptive exhaust system. That’s enough power to push the car to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.6 seconds, while the top speed is unknown.

The RIIIx Performance Package brings Stainless Steel Downpipes, 200 Cell Sport Catalytic Converters downpipes, BMC air filters designed to last longer and create more power than the OEM paper filters, Stainless Steel Sport Mufflers, an upgraded intercooler, and upgraded brakes. It’s mounted on 21 and 22-inch reinforced Renntech RPS 10.2 alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

When it comes to price, the RIIIx Performance Package costs 89,000 euros.

1992 Mercedes 600 SEL with RENNtech 7.6L V12 engine

There are many tuners of Mercedes cars, but one stands out in particular. It’s RENNtech that recently introduced the S76R model, based on the 1992 Mercedes 600 SEL with a V12 engine.

The car retained its exterior design, and the tuner equipped it with a new front splitter, rear lip spoiler, new side skirts, front 402 mm carbon-ceramic discs with six-piston calipers and rear 360 mm discs with four-piston calipers, adaptive shock absorbers generation, shorter coil-springs, a set of 19-inch aluminum wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires.

Inside, the new seats are upholstered in black leather with diamond stitching. Black leather covers the dashboard, center console and door panels. There are carbon fiber inlays, Alcantara headliner, new shifter, and new carpeting, rear bench replaced with two individually adjustable seats, new lights and sound system replaced with a new smartphone compatible head-unit and re-conned speakers.

RENNtech S76R is powered by a 7.6L V12 engine with 615 hp (452 kW) and 703 lb-ft (953 Nm) of torque. It is the most powerful N/A M120 -engine built by RENNtech, thanks to lightweight pistons, titanium connecting rods, beehive springs and titanium retainers for improved spring rate and lighter mass, AMG performance cams, ported heads, custom built airboxes, larger injectors and RENNtech ECU Performance Tune. The engine is mated to a RENNtech upgraded 722.6 electronic 5-speed transmission with an OS Giken Limited Slip differential. As a reminder, the 600 SEL is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine with 402 hp (296 kW) and 428 lb-ft (580 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.

Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series with 1,051 hp

The Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series is a beast on wheels. A super sports car powered by a 720 hp V8 engine is a wish of many. But there are always those who think the beast can do more, like RENNtech.

At first glance, it would be said to be a standard Black Series, which is not far from the truth. The American tuner company did not change the design, nor did it equip the car with additional aerodynamic components. Let’s face it, the aerodynamics of the standard Black Series are impressive.

RENNtech has done what it knows best. It has increased engine power, so now the 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine has 1,051 hp (773 kW) and 831 lb-ft (1,127 Nm) of torque. The upgraded Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series reaches 62 mph in less than 3 seconds with a top speed of 219 mph (352 km / h). All this has been achieved thanks to new and larger turbochargers, a stainless steel exhaust system, new air filters and improved transmission control unit (TCU) so that the seven-speed transmission can handle extra power.

As a reminder, the standard Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series is powered by a 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine with 720 hp (537 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. It reaches 62 mph in 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 202 mph (325 km / h).
