Skoda has officially launched its electric crossover, the Elroq RS, which was announced in early April. It is a sporty version of the Elroq that brings more equipment and excitement.

The Elroq RS model looks significantly different from the standard one, and is the first Skoda sports RS model with the Modern Solid design language. It is equipped with a sports chassis with a suspension that is 15 mm lower at the front and 10 mm at the rear, headlights that extend across the entire width of the car, a lot of black details on the roof rails and side mirrors, and a full-width light bar at the rear. Adaptive shock absorbers are also available as an option. Engineers have also worked on the steering, which is now much better than in the standard Elroq.
The Elroq RS has a Tech-Deck face, behind which are numerous sensors and radars for various systems such as adaptive cruise control and traffic jam assist.
The interior is the same as the standard Elroq but with a few minor updates such as green thread on the micro suede upholstery with carbon fiber trim pieces, and the 13-inch multimedia screen and 5-inch display in front of the driver now have different graphics.
When it comes to the powertrain, the Elroq RS is powered by two electric motors with a total power of 340 hp. It comes with an electric range of more than 550 kilometers on the WLTP cycle, and is currently Skoda’s fastest model, reaching 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds with a top speed of 180 km/h. It supports 185 kW DC fast charging and the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent capacity in just 26 minutes.
Deliveries will start this summer.
