Barrett-Jackson has announced that it will offer a 1962 Porsche 356B Roadster for sale in January. It is one of 248 models whose body type T6 was made by D’Leteren Freres.
The black-painted car is powered by a new 1.6-liter flat-four engine with 75 hp (55 kW), which is paired with a four-speed manual transmission. It is equipped with chrome parts such as bumpers, wheels, fog lights and headlights, as well as a freshly rebuilt four-wheel drum brake system.
Inside, brown leather seats, a wood rimmed steering wheel and a Super tachometer with 5,000 RPM redline and a 120 mph speedometer, are what catches the eye at first glance. There are also chrome details like the handle in front of the passenger seat and the chrome Porsche lettering above the glove compartment. The door panels are also made of leather with leather compartments on them.
The Porsche 356B Roadster is in good condition and comes with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.
