On Thursday, April 21, the Slovenian company Tushek will present the lightest hybrid hypercar, TS900 Apex. It is a car intended for speed enthusiasts who have failed to become owners of the Koenigsegg One: 1.
The Tushek TS900 Apex has the world’s highest power density drivetrain (TDED). It is powered by two electric motors combined with a petrol engine with a total power of 1,351 hp (994 kW) and 1,239 lb-ft (1,680 Nm) of torque. It reaches 62 mph in 2.3 seconds and 124 mph in 7.4 seconds, 186 mph in 17.2 seconds. The top speed that this hyper car can reach is 236 mph (380 km / h).
Rumor has it that it will be powered by a 4.2-liter V8 engine paired with two electric motors, whose total power would be 950 hp (699 kW). Thanks to the carbon chassis and body, the weight of the car has been reduced to 1,343 kg.
The super-fast hybrid hypercar, with a drivetrain based on aircraft technology combined with an internal combustion engine, will be produced in just 36 units priced at 1.5 million euros. Tushek will also present a race car, the TS900 RacerPro, which will be produced in just 12 copies.
