If you are a motorsport enthusiast and want a car worthy of racing, you should consider the new Peugeot 208 Racing. It is a racing car intended for the FR6 Trophy series that will start in 2025 as part of the French Rally Cup.

The Peugeot 208 Racing is based on the second generation of the 208 model, which arrived on the market in July 2023. It features an optimized suspension and braking system based on feedback from professional racers, white bodywork with bright green mirror cups and livery, vertical green slats on the sides of the front bumper, white steel rims and green detailing on the headlights.

Inside, it’s a true racing car. Protective cage, automatic fire protection system, modified dashboard, multifunctional screen that provides the necessary information to the driver, are just some of the equipment. The driver also has a “kill switch” button and some custom controls on the center console.

When it comes to the powertrain, the Peugeot 208 Racung is powered by a turbocharged 1.2-liter engine with 143 hp (105 kW), mated to a 6-speed manual transmission that sends power to the front wheels. The car is mounted on Michelin Pilot Sport PS5 tires and weighs 1,050 kg. It should also be noted that it will use Superethanol-E85 fuel, which reduces CO2 emissions by about 30 percent compared to standard fuel.

Stellantis announced that the order book is open and delivery will begin in early 2025. The price of the car is €38,900 ex VAT.
