German tuner Manhart is a master of improving the performance of German brands, especially BMW models. Their latest work is the Manhart MH5 900 based on the BMW 5 Series.

The MH5 900 is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine with 928 hp (692 kW) and 915 lb-ft (1,240 Nm) of torque. A significant increase in power has been achieved by the remapped ECU, compared to the standard BMW 5 which has 625 hp (466 kW) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a strengthened and recalibrated 8-speed automatic transmission. It is mounted on Concave One in Silk Matt Black 21″ wheels wrapped in 275/30ZR21 front and 295/30ZR21 rear high-performance tires.

The car is finished in blue with two golden stripes on the sides. It is equipped with in-house aerodynamic and stylish carbon fiber parts such as the front spoiler, the kidney-shaped radiator grille, a two-part front apron insert and a pair of canards on the front apron, carbon bonnet in CS style, two-piece side skirts and side inserts, two-part roof spoiler above the rear windscreen, rear spoiler, rear diffuser, and exterior mirror caps.

Inside, the carbon fiber basket seats are upholstered in brown leather while the headlining was refined with soft Alcantara. There are matching floor mats and Alkantara roof, the interior is completed by MANHART Dataview display and sky roof.

Better handling and agility are ensured by coilover springs by KW Suspensions, while the optionally available MANHART coilover suspension Variant 4 from KW suspension guarantees even more driving dynamics. For safe braking and stopping, the powerful and stable carbon-ceramic brake system from the M5 has been retained.
