Hennessey Venom 800 based on the Ford F-150

The Venom 800 is a new car from the American hypercar manufacturer and high-performance vehicle creator, Hennessey, based on the Ford F-150 but with more power.

The car is powered by a 5.0-L V8 engine with 800 hp (588 kW) and 757 lb-ft (1,026 Nm) of torque, a big increase in power over the standard F-150 with 400 hp (294 kW) and 410 lb-ft (560 Nm) of torque. The increase was achieved thanks to the installation of a compressor, improvement of the air-to-water intercooler, a high-performance fuel injection system and a new high-flow intake system. The result is an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, which is significantly better than the Ram 1500 TRX and the F-150 Raptor R.

Hennessey equipped the Venom 800 with branded front and rear bumpers to provide maximum protection in the toughest off-road conditions, electronic fold-out steps, LED off-road lights on the front bumper, BDX suspension with Fox shock absorbers that raise the vehicle by an additional 152 mm, with a carbon fiber front grille, massive 6 piston Brembo performance brakes for optimum performance, and 20-inch rims with 35-inch off-road tires for exceptional performance and reliability.

The interior is also slightly changed, with new items including quilted headrests, all-weather floor mats, American flag inserts and serial number plates.

Only 250 cars will be produced, and the price has not been announced.
