American automotive company Glickenhaus, known for its participation in the World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC), has announced that its long-awaited supercar will enter production. It is a super sports car that will be offered in versions 004S and 004CS.
The 004S is equipped with an audio system, air conditioning, electric seats and a multimedia system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto applications, and optional adjustable Bilstein shock absorbers and a fire protection system. In addition to the driver in the centrally located seat, it can accommodate two more people in slightly offset seats on the sides, and it seems that the model was the cockpit of the McLaren F1 model.
The 004CS is optimized for the track and sits on center-lock rims wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. It is equipped with more efficient brakes and different aerodynamic components that will ensure even better grip in corners.
When it comes to the powertrain, both versions are powered by GM’s centrally located 6.2-L V8 engine assisted by a mechanical compressor with more than 650 hp (478 kW), paired with a manual 6-speed transmission that sends power to the rear axle.
The company announced that the first copies will be delivered at the beginning of 2025.
