CUPRA Born

As part of the strategy until 2025, CUPRA plans to produce its first fully electric car. It is a CUPRA Born model.

The model will be presented at the end of the year, and several versions of the design already exist. The car will be based on the VW Group MEB-Lite platform which is under development.

Dynamic Chassis Control Sport (DCC Sport) allows CUPRA Born to adapt to all conditions providing superior driving pleasure.

The interior of the car is a combination of modern technology and high quality materials.

Wayne Griffiths, CUPRA CEO said: “CUPRA Born displays all the genes of the CUPRA brand and we have taken the original concept to the next level creating a new sporty and dynamic design and reengineering the technological content. CUPRA Born is the living proof that performance and electrification are a great match. ”

The company is in talks with the Spanish government over the development of charging infrastructure for electric cars.

The focus of CUPRA’s engineers was to accelerate the car from 0-50 km / h in 2.9 seconds. Thanks to the 77kWh battery, one charge allows the car to cover a distance of 500 km. A 30-minute charge is enough to cover a distance of 260 km.

The car will be produced at the Zwickau plant in Germany.

Morgan Plus 8 GTR

The well-known British car company Morgan has been known for its traditional solutions for decades. Today, it presents its new Morgan Plus 8 GTR project.

The Plus 8 GTR was inspired by the ‘Big blue’ racing model who was a participant in the FIA GT championship in the late twentieth century. Morgan will only make nine copies of this car.

Morgan claims the new model will be one of their most powerful cars to date. You may be wondering what is hiding under the hood? Well, Morgan provided more than a powerful engine. It’s BMW’s 4.8-liter V8 that will deliver 600 hp to the rear axle.

The price is not yet known, buyers will be able to pick up their cars at the end of the year.
