Toyota GR Supra – The new era of performance is here

The 2020 Toyota GR Supra has mission: to allow driver, car and road to become one, for maximum driving pleasure. Its silhouette stirs emotions. The GR Supra is no mere sports car — it’s a work of art.

The GR Supra not only has a nearly perfect weight balance, but also its overall weight is placed in the right areas. To achieve this, the engine and transmission are lowered as low as possible for a low center of gravity. The powerplant has been moved as far back as possible, helping keep the car’s center of mass, well, in the center of the car, for optimum handling performance.

A wide platform contributes to overall vehicle stability, so GR Supra is engineered around its ultra-wide track width of 1595 mm/1590 mm (front/rear). This wide stance is matched to a precisely calculated wheelbase resulting in a chassis that delivers high-speed comfort, unparalleled agility and instant communication between road and driver.

The GR Supra’s interior is the ideal blend of form, function and beauty. Designed with the driver in mind, this cockpit features a number of inspired touches to help you get the most out of every drive. Deeply bolstered sport seats match up with console-mounted side knee padding to ensure you’re comfortably in place, no matter the tightness of the turn.

GR Supra has 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine that produce 335 hp and 365 lb.-ft. of torque. One engineering marvel. Smart technologies like a twin-scroll turbocharger, Variable Valve Timing and electric wastegate ensure that this engine provides plenty of power, instant response and one glorious exhaust note.

GR Supra is equipped with the latest safety technologies, including Lane Departure Warning with Steering Assist (LDW w/SA), Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD), Automatic High Beams (AHB) and Speed Limit Information.

The new era of performance is here.

Morgan Aero 8

Each Morgan Aero 8 is hand crafted to order at the factory in Malvern, UK. Lightweight, powerful and effortlessly stylish, the new Morgan Aero 8 is a true British sports car. This, the most refined Aero product to date, is a fitting evolution of Morgan’s most technologically advanced range of vehicles.

Driving with the hood down amplifies the addictive V8 soundtrack. A dramatic rear opening clam shell boot is used to both tension and hide the mohair hood, whilst the lightweight hard top transforms the car into a coupé. A stiffer all-aluminium chassis and improved suspension are complimented by the improved aerodynamic performance of the hand sculpted body. New dashboard arrangements, real wood surrounds, textured box-woven carpets and fine leather trim enhance the new interior. Optional touch screen media systems, low slung carbon seats and bespoke detailing packs add to Morgan’s already extensive options list. Wherever this effortless sports tourer takes you, exclusivity is guaranteed.

An all new mohair soft-top with rear opening clam-shell boot design enables the hood to be stowed away neatly. Occupants are seated low in the vehicle, which in turn enables a sleek roof line and balanced vehicle proportions. An entirely hand trimmed, customisable interior: textured box woven carpet accentuates the fine natural leather found at each point of contact. Finished with real wood accents, detailed stitch work and classically styled components.

Morgan tailors every car to align with the customer’s personal vision. With infinite combinations of paint, leather and a vast array of detail choices, every Aero built will be a one-off.

The aluminium chassis benefits from improved torsional stiffness, a revised front end, all new suspension, anti-roll bars and a limited slip differential. The driver benefits from a more responsive and better handling sports car.

Morgan offers two types of engines:
BMW 4799CC V8 – BMW manual 6 speed gearbox with 367 hp and 370 lb-ft of torque. Aero 8 accelerates from 0-62 mph in 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 170 mph.
BMW 4799CC V8 – ZF automatic 6 speed gearbox with 367 hp and 370 lb-ft of torque. Aero 8 accelerates from 0-62 mph in 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 155 mph.

Acura ILX – quiet enough to hear your elevated heartbeat

The new 2020 Acura ILX delivers top performance even before you get in the vehicle. Its low, wide sporty stance betrays the look of a sports sedan. The performance of the Acura ILX is enhanced by Shark-Gray, noise-reducing wheels and the bold Diamond Pentagon Grille flanked by chiseled Jewel Eye® LED headlights.

The interior of the ILX is done in the style of sports cars. At the driver’s feet, stainless steel sport pedals offer a raceboot-ready style, while seats finished with perforated Ultrasuede® inserts and contrast stitching add to the performance-focused attitude. Above, a black headliner increases the dramatic effect of the red-illuminated instrument panel, and throughout the cabin. It’s a focus on performance matched in comfort with an array of premium materials, including a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. As well, dual-zone, automatic climate control, complete with humidity control and multilevel heated front seats, further improves everyone’s comfort. And to empower the driver, an available 7-inch LED backlit touchscreen manages everything from phone to audio to vehicle information.

Acura’s Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure is designed to absorb and disperse frontal impact energy so less force is transferred to what really matters: the people inside. ACE incorporates extra bracing at the front corners to absorb and distribute impact energy from narrow-offset collisions to the primary crash structure. The outer braces are designed to transfer impact load toward the center of the frame, where the energy can be distributed around the cabin area more evenly. This enhanced frontal-crash-energy management helps reduce the forces transferred to the reinforced cabin and can help to more evenly disperse the forces transferred to other vehicles in a collision.

The 2.4 liter engine delivers 201 hp and 180 lb-ft of torque at 3.600 rpm. The eight-speed dual-clutch transmission not only maintains high engine speeds, but also maintains a high heart rate. Fortunately, active sound control, standard for every ILX, dramatically reduces unwanted noise.
