Tesla Model Y

If you were planning to buy a Tesla Model Y, you could wait because a cheaper version with a better battery is coming soon. It is a car with equipment that has not been seen before, and the company reportedly delivered several such versions to its employees at the Giga Rodeo event in Texas last week.

The new Model Y is equipped with a 4,680-cell battery, which is twice as much as the current ones used by Tesla. The battery has five times the capacity, which allows the company to increase the range of its vehicles or use fewer batteries to achieve the same range, thus potentially reducing costs.

The current Model Y in the new Standard Range AWD version has a range of 449 kilometers and accelerates to 62 mph in five seconds. It costs $ 59,000, which is $ 3,000 less than the Long Range AWD version.

With the new model, Tesla is trying to present its strategy of producing a $ 25,000 car. While it will take time for a new battery to come into every Tesla electric car, it should still help maintain prices and improve range.

2022 Ford GT Holman Moody Heritage Edition

Through two generations of the GT model, Ford has presented special editions of the supersport two-seater as many as eight times, recalling the day when, in the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans, the dominance of the invincible Ferrari was finally stopped. Now Ford has prepared a GT Holman Moody Heritage Edition based on a model from the 60s.

With the ninth special edition, the Holman Moody Heritage Edition, Ford pays tribute to the Ford GT40 Mk.II which, with third place in 1966, secured Ford the title in 24 Hours of Le Mans. The drivers were Ronnie Bucknum and Dick Hutcherson.

The car comes in original colors with start number 5 and red details. The GT Holman Moody Heritage Edition will have its premiere on April 15 at the New York Auto Show.

Ford has not revealed how many copies will be produced, but according to previous special models, that number should not exceed 50.
