2023 Mercedes-AMG G63 4×4²

Mercedes previously published photos from the testing of the new G-Class. The camouflaged car didn’t reveal much, so one could only guess. However, they decided to reveal the look of the new Mercedes-AMG G63 4×4² before the official premiere.

The Mercedes-AMG G63 4×4² is powered by a 4-liter V8 biturbo engine with 585 hp (430 kW) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque. The engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission that transmits power to all wheels. The company claims that the new G-Class reaches 62 mph in less than 5 seconds, but consumes as much as 20 L of fuel per 100 km, which, if we take into account current prices, will empty the wallet of future owners.

The car is equipped with a modified adaptive suspension, and the G-Klass is additionally lifted from the ground to as much as 351 millimeters compared to the previous 238 mm. This allows the car to pass through 91 mm deep water and a better approach / exit angle compared to the standard G-Class. It is mounted on 22-inch wheels.

When it comes to price, the Mercedes-AMG G63 4×4² is not cheap at all and costs 250,000 euros.

Skoda Fabia RS Rally2

The 2022 WRC season is underway and the current leader in the championship standings is Finnish driver Kalle Rovanperä of Toyota GR Yaris. Toyota GR Yaris is also the leader in the category of manufacturers. The Skoda team has bad results, so the manufacturer decided to present the new Fabia RS Rally2 for the 2023 season.

The new Fabia RS Rally2 is based on the fourth generation of race cars. The design of the current model has been retained, and the new materials used meet all FIA regulations. The size of the wheels will be chosen by the teams depending on the surface on which the rally will take place.

The car is powered by a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine, based on VW’s 2.0L engine, with 291 hp (214 kW) and 317 lb-ft (430 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to all wheels via a 5-speed sequential transmission.

Ford GT40 will be EV

The Ford GT40 is an endurance racing car that won the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans race from 1960 to 1965. Now the British company Everrati has announced that it will make a replica of this car.

The original GT40 was powered by a 7.0L V8 engine with 485 hp (357 kW) and 475 lb-ft (644 Nm) of torque. It reached 62 in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 205 mph (330 km / h). The car was designed exclusively to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans race and was built from lightweight materials.

The British company said the GT40 will be powered by two electric motors that will deliver a total power of 800 hp (432 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque, which is enough to reach a maximum of 124 mph (200 km) / h). Unlike the original, the electric replica will produce the fake sound of a V8 engine. The driver will be able to select “virtual speeds” after activating Race mode. The car will be equipped with a new body and chassis, but also a 60 kWh battery.

The GT 40 is not the only car the British company has produced, so it will join the electric fleet that includes the Porsche 911 964, Land Rover Defender and Mercedes-Benz 280SL.

The original GT 40 costs millions, and how much the replica will cost is currently unknown.
