After the BMW X3 M, the German company Manhart tuned another BMW car. It is a BMW MHX5 800 model based on the X5 M generation. The BMW MHX5 800 is a rival to the Audi RS Q8 that was introduced early last year.
The MHX5 800 features a number of looks and performance improvements. New stainless steel exhaust system with valve control function with four 100 mm exhaust pipes that can be finished in carbon or ceramic coatings.
The new 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine has a larger cooler and new software. The engine develops 823 hp and 797 lb-ft of torque and is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission with all-wheel drive.
Since the base model accelerates from 0-62 mph in 3.8 seconds, the MHX5 800 is expected to be faster because Manhart did not disclose that figure.
The new SUV has 22-inch wheels. Thanks to the suspension modifications, it is 30 mm lower.
