There are many companies that, in a creative way, try to make cars visually and technically better than the factory ones, however, there are few who know how to do it the right way. One of them is Carlex Design whose latest project, the Carlex G-Vintage, is based on the Mercedes G-Class.

Visually, the car looks luxurious, and Carlex Design offers a choice of several body colors: Lime Pop, Champagne Fizz, Pink Glow, Tangerine, Raspberry Punch, Green Breeze, Ivory, Sand Dune, and Noir, each including white detailing. It is equipped with classic elements such as a chrome front bumper, grille, logo, chrome side steps, rear bumper, side mirrors, moldings around the windows and a spare wheel holder.

Inside, the combination of Alcantara and vintage leather, which further emphasizes the retro feel, increase the feeling of luxury. Brown leather covers almost every inch of the cabin, while the rear of the rear seats and the luggage compartment are decorated with wooden panels. There is also a 360 view camera, active distance assist, and 10 airbags.

The Carlex G-Vintage is powered by a 4.0-L V8 twin-turbo engine with 805 hp (600 kW) and 752 lb-ft (1,020 Nm) of torque, mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all wheels.

Carlex Design has not announced the price of the car.
