Infiniti Q50 – life and luxury

In 2020, Japanese carmaker Nissan launched the Infiniti Q50 as a blend of life and luxury. For the perfect mood, the passionate Infiniti Q50 captures your emotions with every body line.

On the Q50 3.0t SPORT and Q50 RED SPORT 400, creativity is expressed by bold front corners and aggressive openings complemented by an air-inspired air diffuser.

The car is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 engine with 300 or 400 hp with enhanced high performance turbo technology. The Q50 offers two steering modes: The Rack electronic power steering offers a traditional feel with the Sport model. The Direct Adaptive Steering, available in the ProACTIVE package, digitally processes your inputs so you feel like the steering wheel is getting faster and smoother.

The standard suspension offers a double link front and independent rear suspension with multiple links for a smooth ride. Dynamic digital suspension features electronically adjustable shock absorbers and advanced hardware which offer custom driving. Technological innovations on the PROACTIVE package can automatically maintain your speed and distance to the car in front, can brake when traffic slows down and accelerate when it clears. Active Lane Control provides the driver with greater safety even on rough roads. To enhance confidence, Blind Spot Intervention uses radar sensors to help detect cars in your blind spot area. Infiniti is among the first to introduce technologies like Predictive Forward Collision Warning. Today as standard equipment, which can alert you to a potential collision two cars ahead.

Studebaker Electric

Although cars have been around for years, most of them were rough things, they lack the essential practicality and usefulness that could recommend them for general adoption. After years of experimentation and research, in 1929 Studebaker produced an electric car that is simple in construction, safe, easy to operate, free from vibration and noise, friction and resistance reduced to a minimum. Unlike other vehicles of its class, it is serviceable on the usual paving and car tracks of the city streets, a consideration of importance in a vehicle.

Its engineering design is fully in line with the latest car developments. The design have been made simple, easy accessible, direct, on conservative lines.

The battery with which these vehicles are regularly equipped is the most powerful battery produced at date time. The battery consists of 24 cells which effect the best compromise between the number of rubber jars and the total energy capacity of the battery. It is arranged that its location is not directly over that of the motor, as is the case in many vehicles, so that in this vehicle any drippings from the battery fall to the ground.

This vehicle is equipped with one motor. For a vehicle of this size a properly designed differential on tech rear axle is practical which makes it possible to effect a saving by using one large motor instead of two small ones. The motor used is a Standard Westinghouse Vehicle Motor. The design is such that small rises in current produce very much greater power effect than it has been previously attained in motors of this class. The results are that even in severe service the battery discharges are very materially reduced. This peculiarity has another advantage in that it gives even on the slow speed very much more power effect than has ever been attained before. The motor is suspended above the spring, from the running gear on forward and fastened on position, thus securing perfect chain adjustment. The suspension of the motor above the springs not only materially relieves shocks on it and the running gear, but contributes greatly to the life of the tires and on account of its location equalizes the load.

The transmission is by roller chain from counter shaft built into the motor heads to a balance gear on the rear axle. The pull of the chain is taken by distance rods attaching to the side bars of the running gear frame and the main rear axle bearings. The controller has four speed and is conveniently located on the end of the seat. The motor reverses by pressing a lever with the heel. The speed backward are the same as forward. On each speed almost full power effect can be obtained. The speeds are equally divided, and the maximum speed is 13 miles per hour on a straight road.

Each vehicle is equipped with a charging receptacle, which will match the standard charger connector with a 15-foot cable, with which each vehicle is equipped. Instead of the ordinary volt meter and ammeter, this vehicle is equipped with an indicator which reads directly the amount of energy in the battery.

Each vehicle is fitted with a band brake on rear axle, operated with foot lever working in a ratchet. They are also fitted an auxiliary brake operating directly on the shaft of the motor and controlled by a foot lever.

The wheels are ball-bearing, fitted with 30 x 3 inch double tube pneumatic tires. The track is 4 feet 6 inches center to center of tire.

Alfa Romeo Stelvio

In 1923 legendary Alfa Romeo factory driver, Ugo Sivocci, created a good-luck symbol by hand-painting a clover over a white square on his Targo Florio race car. It worked like a charm, Sivocci finally won a race. Weeks later, Ugo drove a vehicle that was missing his charm leaf. He crashed and lost his life. From that point on, every Alfa Romeo car would bear the four-leaf clover on a white triangle, instead of a square. The missing corner symbolizes the loss of Ugo Sivocci.

Alfa Romeo has always taken a unique and innovative approach to designing its automobiles, combining technology and a strong instinct to inspire emotion. In this last chapter of the history of Alfa Romeo, the driver is at the center of design.

A hundred years of innovation in the automotive industry is an example of the two types of engines offered by Stelvio. Both engines are built in Italy with state-of-the-art processes and methods, using the best design that puts them at the top of their class in terms of performance.

The Stelvio Quadrifoglio has the most powerful production engine ever created Alfa Romeo: innovative, aluminum 2.9L Twin-Turbo V6 an engine that delivers an exceptional 505 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. Quadrifoglio goes from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and reaches the top speed of 176 mph.

The second one is all-aluminum 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine delivering 280 horsepower and 306 lb-ft of torque. Its innovative control valve lift system manages combustion quality for improved performance, while standard drive shaft drive is displayed Alfa Romeo is committed to performance and innovation by providing emphasis stiffness and resistance.

The available Q4 All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system offers the performance and driving pleasure of Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD). Under normal conditions, the Q4 AWD system (available with the 2.0L engine) sends 100% of the engine torque to the rear axle. When necessary, the system can automatically transfer up to 60% of the torque to the front axle, thanks to the Active Transfer Case (ATC). It continuously monitors road conditions to deliver ideal torque distribution, maximizing grip and performance.

The interior comes with a 14-way performance leathertrimmed / Alcantara® heated Sport front seats, including power bolsters and manual thigh support Quadrifoglio leather-wrapped heated steering wheel with Red push-button start and columnmounted aluminum paddle shifters, Genuine Carbon Fiber interior trim Leather-wrapped dash and upper door trim 200-mph speedometer Black headliner.

Born over one hundred years ago, the Alfa Romeo marque represents a passion for motoring unlike any other.
