Two years ago, Chevrolet started rumors about the arrival of the hybrid Corvette, and now that news has been confirmed by the publication of a teaser and a photo of the camouflaged car on social media. The car should hit the market next year.
According to the published video, the front wheels are seen first and then the rear wheels, which indicates AWD. Also, you can hear the sound of the V8 engine that will power the rear wheels of the hybrid Chevrolet Corvette. The car will be based on GM’s new Ultium platform, and will be equipped with a battery that will power two electric motors.

Rumor has it that we could soon see a fully electric Corvette, and new versions will join the standard coupe and convertible. The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine with 490 hp (360 kW) and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque. Reaches 60 mph in less than 3 seconds with a top speed of 186 mph (300 km / h). The Corvette Z06 is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 engine with 670 hp (493 kW) and 460 lb-ft (623 Nm) of torque. It reaches 60 mph in 2.6 seconds with a top speed of 186 mph (300 km / h).
The name of the hybrid version of the Corvette has not yet been announced, but Chevrolet back in 2015 protected the name of the Corvette E-Ray that could be used for the electric version.
