At the end of 2022, the Dutch company revealed a limited edition Donkervoort F22 ultralagan car. The plan was to produce only 75 examples, however, as the first 50 cars have already been sold, the company announced that they intend to produce another 25 examples.
The F22 is powered by a 2.5L 5-cylinder turbo gasoline engine with 500 hp (368 kW) and 472 lb-ft (640 Nm) of torque, which is enough to push the 750 kg car to 62 mph in just 2.5 seconds. , 124 mph (200 km/h) in 7.5 seconds with a top speed of 180 mph (290 km/h). Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
The car continues the story of the previous model D8 GTO, which is shaping the future and carrying the heritage. It sets new standards in speed, handling, driving purity, design and everyday usability. It is based on a tubular steel-aluminum chassis, which does not lose grip in turns even with a force of 2.15G. It is equipped with a removable Twin Targa carbon-fibre roof, hydraulic ride-height adjustment, active suspension and a new brake system. It is mounted on Nankang 18 and 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in ARI 235/40 (front) and 275/35 (rear) tires.
Inside, the cabin is adorned with Recaro seats with six-point harnesses. The Donkervoort F22 represents a real analogy in the digital world because the driver cannot count on the power steering system and brakes, and the only help to the independent suspension is the optional hydraulic system with which the car can be raised from the ground by an additional 35 millimeters.
The starting price is EUR 245,000.
