Ferrari 458 Challenge Silhouette

Ferrari 458 Challenge Silhouette

The Ferrari 458 Italia is a fantastic high-performance car that, according to many, should remain untouched and unmodified, but Liberty Walk apparently thinks otherwise and has been producing a body kit called the Silhouette for the past few years. Now the Japanese tuner has shown its new creation based on the Ferrari 458 Challenge.

The car is equipped with a carbon fiber body kit, and special attention is focused on the front part, where a new grille, a unique splitter and aerodynamic wings on the outer edges of the bumper are installed. The Liberty Walk Silhouette package also includes a new hood with large air vents, while subtle vents similar to those on the 458 Speciale can be seen as well as a blacked-out Ferrari logo below the license plate.

Also, new carbon fiber mirrors, new door panels and aerodynamic side skirts were installed, and the Ferrari got a set of new rims with central studs. According to the photos, the car is closer to the ground, so it can be assumed that air suspension is also installed. At the back, you can see a new spoiler and diffuser that increases downforce but also makes the car look more aggressive.

There were no changes under the hood, so the Ferrari 458 Challenge is still powered by a 4.5L V8 engine with 570 hp (419 kW) and 398 lb-ft (540 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed manual F1 transmission. It reaches 60 in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h).
