In 1991, Juan Hurtado González founded the Spanish automobile company, Hurtan Automóviles. The company produces retro-styled cars, and their latest work is the Grand Albaycin UAE Limited Edition.
The Grand Albaycin is powered by a 1.5-liter ND MX-5 engine with 132 hp (97 kW). Those who want more power can get Mazda’s 2.0-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine with 184 hp (135 kW). For the first time, a model based on the Mazda MX-5 was introduced in early 2021, based on the ND generation and inspired by classic British sports cars. The unique design begins at the front with a pair of round lights and daytime running lights, and there is also an accented radiator grille with vertical chrome slats. Pontoon fenders are located front and rear. This model is finished in blue metallic.
Hurtan plans to produce just 30 examples of the Grand Albaycin UAE Limited Edition, but it has not been specified whether each will be identically configured. It is mounted on a set of silver rims with retro design spokes.
The price of the car has not been announced, but if we consider that the standard Grand Albaycin costs 59,000 EUR, we assume that buyers will have to reach deeper into their pockets.
