Kimera K39 inspired by Lancia 037

The Italian company Kimera Automobili presented its latest project, the Kimera K39. The car is inspired by a racing car from the early 1980s, the Lancia 037, which competed in the FIA Group B World Rally Championship.

The Kimera K39 is equipped with a carbon monocoque, a large splitter and deep hood vents, wide fenders with vents and intakes, four round LED headlights like those on the restomod EVO37 and EVO38, an extended tail with a double rear wing, full-length LED taillights and triple Capristo exhaust system placed above the diffuser.

The company has not released technical details about the car, but it is expected to have better performance than the powerful Kimera EVO38 with 608 hp (453 kW) and 428 lb-ft (580 Nm) of torque.

The car is shown in digital form with Martini Racing livery, and will compete in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb race next year.
