2022 Volkswagen ID.5 has entered the production lines

As previously announced, the electric SUV Volkswagen ID.5 has entered the production lines. This is the sixth model to be produced in the first factory built to produce electric cars only. With the construction of the Zwickau plant, the annual capacity of the vehicles produced will exceed 1.1 million.

Adapting the Zwickau plant to produce only electric vehicles cost Volkswagen 1.2 billion euros and the process took more than two years. This factory is very important for the German manufacturer, which expects to produce almost 200,000 vehicles from the production lines of this factory this year. The vehicle manufacturing process is 90 percent automated and the factory is equipped with 1,625 robots.

The car will be offered in two versions, Pro and Pro Performance. The basic version is powered by a single engine with 172 hp (128 kW). 2024 Mustang GT3 Race Car

After 58 years of racing experience we are ready to take the Mustang to the next level of global performance, said Ford Performance Motorsports global director Mark Rushbrook announcing the new GT3 race car, the Mustang GT3.

Ford will work with M-Sport on this project and the result should be a new race car. The owner of M-Sport, Malcolm Wilson, did not hide his enthusiasm for this cooperation.
