5-year-old Zayn Sofuoglu drove a Lamborghini Revuelto at 312 km/h

All big followers of Formula 1 know that most of the best drivers of the “flying circus” started their careers very young, like Lance Stroll and Max Verstappen who are the youngest Formula 1 drivers ever. First, they were karting drivers and then moved to the lower categories of Formula 1 (Formula Three and Formula Two). A five-year-old boy from Turkey, Zayn Sofuoglu, who recently drove a Lamborghini Revuelto, could have the same path.

This is not the first time this little boy has driven a super powerful car. Last year he was behind the wheel of the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, with which he showed on the track that he has enormous potential. Of course, the seats and pedals of the Lamborghini Revuelto were adapted to the boy, and his father Kenan Sofuoglu, who is one of the most successful Turkish motorcycle racers, was in the passenger seat.

Lamborghini Revuelto is powered by a 6.5-L L545 naturally aspirated V12 engine combined with an electric motor with a total output of 1,001 hp (746 kW) 783 lb-ft (1,062 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to all wheels via an 8-speed Graziano dual-clutch automatic transmission. It reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.5 seconds with a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).

On an empty track, Zayn Sofuoglu managed to reach a speed of 312 km/h, which is too fast for most adult drivers. It’s obvious that Kenan is a great mentor to his son, and that Zayn is not afraid of adrenaline. The boy is also excellent at skiing and snowboarding.

2025 Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is coming earlier than expected

In July, Xiaomi revealed an all-electric beast, the SU7 Ultra. It is an extreme version of the first car (SU7) of this Chinese tech giant, which entered the world of car manufacturers. At the time, it was said that the car will hit the market in mid-2025, but it will happen at the beginning of the year.

The SU7 Ultra is powered by three electric motors with a total output of 1,548 hp (1,154 kW), which is enough to push the 1,900 kg car from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 1.97 seconds, 200 km/h in 5.97 seconds and 300 km/h in 15 seconds, with a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).

With the appearance of a racing car, the SU7 Ultra is equipped with wide fenders, touring-style bumpers, a large spoiler and a rear wing that creates huge downforce (up to 2,145 kilograms). There are also a CATL Qilin 2.0 battery with a maximum discharge rate of 1,330 kWh and AP Racing high-performance brakes assisted by a regenerative braking system, which allows the car to stop from 300 km/h in just 15 seconds.

The SU 7 Ultra arrives in the hands of owners with an entry-level mod, which means they will have to pass tests to unlock the car’s full performance, Xiaomi director Lei Jun pointed out. It is a preventive safety measure, which will protect inexperienced drivers from themselves.
