MANHART GER 800 based on the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4Matic Coupe

If we talk about specialists for tuning BMW cars, the first thing that comes to mind is the German tuner Manhart, who has over 35 years of experience in optimizing cars from this Bavarian manufacturer. Their latest work is based on the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4Matic Coupe, which hit the market four years ago, and is called the MANHART GER 800.

The Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4Matic is an outstanding car that, thanks to the carbon-fiber widebody kit (by TopCar Design), got an even sportier look. It is equipped with extended fenders, an extended spoiler in the form of a duck tail, a hood with ventilation openings, a modified standard suspension that allows lowering of 30 millimeters. There’s also a set of yellow decals, which contrast the exposed carbon and matte dark green bodywork. The interior is upgraded with a matching black and yellow MANHART Alcantara leather with matching MANHART floor mats.

The car is mounted on 23″ wheels with satin black finish and yellow trim strips wrapped in 285/35ZR23 and 325/30ZR23 Manhart Concave One tires. MANHART OPF-Delete Sport downpipes with two 300-cell catalytic converters are also on board but are only intended for export as they are not TÜV-approved.

Under the bonnet is a mildly hybridized with an additional electric compressor, twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine with 800 hp (596 kW) and 737 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque. That’s 188 hp (140 kW) and 111 lb-ft (150 Nm) more torque compared to the factory car. The increase in power was achieved thanks to an additional electric compressor, MANHART turbo upgrade, MHtronik powerbox and exhaust system.

Manhart did not release the price of the upgrade.

2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 – the most powerful ever

For over seven decades, the Chevrolet Corvette has stood as a symbol of raw power, precision engineering, and timeless design. From its humble beginnings as a vision of post-war innovation to its current status as a global performance icon, the Corvette continues to push the boundaries of what a sports car can be. Now, the most powerful and fastest Corvette ever arrives, the Corvette ZR1.

Under the bonnet is a twin-turbocharged 5.5L DOHC flat-plane crank V8 engine with 1,064 hp (873 kW) @ 7,000 rpm and 828 lb-ft (1,123 Nm) of torque @ 6,000 rpm, paired with a strengthened and recalibrated M1K 8- speed dual clutch (DCT) gearbox. This Corvette (which is not assisted by the hybrid system) has a top speed of more than 340 km/h, and has a power-to-weight ratio of nearly 580 horsepower per ton, which makes it even better than the Bugatti Veyron.

The car is based on the Z06 model and is equipped with several new (optional) carbon body components optimized for speed and better grip on closed tracks. It’s mounted on 20″ front and 21″ rear carbon wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires, behind which are carbon-ceramic brakes and tuned adaptive suspension elements that still ensure enough smoothness for public road use. Chevrolet will offer this version to customers in two body styles: Coupé and Cabrio.

Also, Chevrolet has brought back the historic split-window style that was last seen on the C2-generation Corvette. “We didn’t approach this decision lightly, we know this is a beloved element from Corvette’s history. Not only does this element provide function, but we were able to integrate passionate design into the form and do it in a way that paid homage to Corvette’s history. The ZR1 felt like the right time to bring the split-window back,” said Phil Zak, executive design director, Chevrolet.

When it comes to the price, Chevrolet did not say how much the most powerful Corvette will cost. Some predict the price will be around $170,000.

Ferrari expanded crypto payment to Europe

In October 2023, Ferrari announced that buyers in America will be able to pay for their cars in cryptocurrency. The reason was that the manufacturer reaches people who are not necessarily buyers of our brand, but who can afford a Ferrari. Now the service has been extended to Europe.

When the first cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) was created in 2009, few believed that it would survive. Today, there are hundreds of different cryptocurrencies on the market, and many still think they have no future. Many manufacturers still do not believe them, but Ferrari tried its luck in America and succeeded.

In the US, Ferrari has reached an agreement with a bitcoin payment service provider (BitPay) to process payments in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ether and USDC. This system protects traders from price fluctuations by instantly converting digital currencies into traditional currency. Also, the advantage is that there are no fees or additional payments for clients.

It was not mentioned when this system will become possible in Europe, and according to statements from Maranello, most dealers have already adopted or are in the process of adopting the new system. Of course, Ferrari will not limit this payment option only to Europe and America, because soon customers in other markets will also be able to use it.
