At the end of last year, a new racing car, the Radical SR3 XX3, arrived on the market. Now, the British company presents an improved and more powerful version of its most popular car with aerodynamic improvements that take the car’s performance to a higher level, the Radical SR10 XXR.

The SR XXR is powered by a 1.5L engine with 232 hp (171 kW), which is significantly less than the SR10 XXR which is powered by a 2.3L turbocharged engine with 425 hp (313 kW). In addition to more horsepower, the engine is also more durable, the company claims.

The car is equipped with new front vents that improve aerodynamics at high speeds, but also have a positive effect on handling and cooling, as well as an LMP-inspired central fin. The same aerodynamic part adorns the SR3 XXR. New lightweight wheels and new front daytime running lights are part of the standard equipment. Customers can optionally get a carbon splitter and diffuser, which further reduces the car’s weight.

If you already own a Radical SR10 car, you can upgrade it to XXR specifications with the new XXR Evolution Pack, which includes aerodynamic optimizations, new rims, a better cooling system, and carbon parts (optional).

Production of the Radical SR10 XXR will begin in the next few months, while the first deliveries are expected during the year. Radical currently has more than 30 distributors in more than 20 countries worldwide, with the largest market being the USA.
