Refreshed Renault Espace

Refreshed Renault Espace

In 2023, Renault unveiled the sixth generation Espace, which shares most of its components with the Austral model. Two years later, the French manufacturer launched a refreshed version of the model.

Renault increased the length of the refreshed Espace to 4.74 meters, added a new Renault design language, a new Baltic blue-gray exterior color, and an exclusive Light Sand interior. This design language was first seen with the arrival of the flagship Rafale model, and was quickly adopted by the smaller Captur and Symbioz models. It includes a redesigned front end with new LED lights, redesigned daytime running lights, a new radiator grille, and simplified bumper air intakes that give it a more elegant look.

The cabin features ergonomic front seats and improved soundproofing. The refreshed Espace is the first Renault model to feature a new driver recognition system, which activates a user profile with personalized settings that include seat position, favorite radio stations, and infotainment system applications. A large glass roof is available as an option and comes with Solarbay technology that allows it to be transparent or darkened according to the driver’s wishes. In front of the driver is a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12-inch infotainment system screen, while a 9.3-inch head-up display is optional.

Renault also offers three equipment packages: Techno, Iconic and Espirit Alpine, which differ in their radiator grilles and slightly smaller rear lights.

When it comes to the powertrain, the Espace is powered by a 1.2-L three-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine combined with two electric motors with a total power of 200 hp, and offers a range of 1,100 km. The same hybrid powertrain is used in the current version.
