After 2020, Sony introduced another electric car, expanding its range of electric vehicles. It is the Vision-S 02, the successor to the previous Vision-S model.
Sony unveiled the Vision-S electric sedan for two years along with its autonomous driving technology and entertainment systems, and a year later began testing a prototype legal for the road. However, even then, it did not seem that the production version would arrive soon.
The seven-seater is equipped with in-seat speakers that create a 3D audio experience, a panoramic infotainment system and separate rear screens that allow you to watch a variety of content and play games via a remote connection to the Sony PlayStation console.
The new Vision-S 02, Sony has developed based on its own AI system and robotics. The same platform was used with the previous model. It is powered by two 536 hp (400 kW) engines mounted on both axles. That’s enough power for the car to reach a top speed of more than 112 mph (180 km / h).
Sony has announced that it will launch a new company, Sony Mobility Inc., which will start operating earlier this year. This announcement led to a rise in Sony shares of more than 4.5 percent.
