Paul Walker’s 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS Z/28 is up for auction

More than a decade ago, Paul Walker, star of the “Fast & Furious” movie series, died in a car accident near Los Angeles. He was a car enthusiast and worked with his friend on the restoration of several cars, including the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS Z/28, which will be auctioned in August.

This Camaro RS Z/28 is a completed Walker project and is an ideal opportunity for fans of this model to restore the car as they like. The car requires a lot of work to bring it back to its original condition. The body of the car is not in bad condition and it should be noted that it left the factory in Le Mans blue, which is almost invisible on the car. There are also original Z/28 Rally rims wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires.

The interior is not in bad condition considering its age. The upholstery on the seats does not look bad, as do the black plastic and wooden details on the central console. The odometer shows 22,639 miles.

Collectors will appreciate the fact that it is still powered by the original 302 CI V-8 engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission that sends power to the rear wheels.

The car was purchased by Chevrolet collector Merle Duprey in 1982, later purchased by Walker and Rodas, then sold back to Duprey in 2013, before finally being purchased by Solo Speed Shop.
