Roger Federer is one of the best tennis players in history, and in his career he was a Mercedes-Benz ambassador, thanks to which he created a car collection of this world-famous brand. He recently finished his career with 20 Grand Slam titles, and in honor of his successful career, Mercedes-Benz created a special edition, the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE.
The car was produced at the beginning of the year, has never been registered and is now looking for its first owner. It is a representative of the new era of electrified AMG vehicles, and all proceeds from sales will be used for a tennis project in London.
The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE is powered by a 4.0-liter V-8 engine that, in combination with a 204 hp (150 kW) electric motor, delivers a total of 843 hp (620 kW) and 900 lb-ft (1,220 Nm) of torque. It reaches 62 mph in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 196 mph (316 km/h). Power is transmitted to both axles via the nine-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT automatic transmission.
The pride of Stuttgart and Germany, it is painted in Electric Beam neon-yellow, which pays tribute to tennis, and carries Federer’s personal signature. The car will be sold at an auction that will take place on November 26, 2022.
