Following other large companies, Hyundai has introduced its new electric car, the Ioniq 6, which some consider a direct competitor to the Tesla Model 3. The car has so far passed many tests and now the camouflage has finally been removed.
The minimalist body design refers to the previously unveiled Prophecy concept model. The car is equipped with new technological solutions such as cameras that replace the previous side mirrors. At the rear, reminiscent of a Porsche, are two small duck tails. One under the rear window and the other at the bottom of the rear door. There is also a light bar that extends the entire length of the rear of the car. Inside, a lot of detail is reminiscent of the solutions from the Ioniq 5.
Although there are no specification data, unofficially Hyundai will release all the technical data in the middle of next month. Rumor has it that the capacity of the batteries in the floor will be 77.4 kWh. It is certain that the Ioniq 6 will also be offered in combination with one or two electric motors, such as the Ioniq 5 and the KIA model EV6.
Either way, let’s wait until next month for more information on the Hyundai Ioniq 6.
