In 2019, Pininfarina presented the Battista electric model developed in cooperation between Rimac Automobile and Pininfarina, and production began three years later. Now, paying tribute to legendary driver Nino Farina, the company has unveiled the Battista Edizione Nino Farina.

Emilio Giuseppe Farina, also known as Giuseppe Antonio “Nino” Farina, was the first official Formula One World Champion in 1950. In his career, he achieved 20 podiums, 5 victories, 5 pole positions, and 5 fastest laps. His uncle was Battista Farina, founder of Pininfarina.

This beast is finished in Rosso Niro decorated with Bianco Sestriere white and Iconia Blu blue details. The upper parts of the doors and the roof are black, while the housings of the side mirrors are made of carbon. Unique gold rims and number 01 complete the exterior design.

Inside, the seats are upholstered differently, one in black/white leather with a Pininfarina logo on the headrest, while the other is in black Alcantara with an “01” badge on the headrest. The dashboard and central console are covered in black leather with red stitching.

When it comes to the powertrain, the car is powered by four electric motors with a total power of 1,877 hp (1,380 kW) and 1,726 lb-ft (2,340Nm) of torque. That’s enough power to push this supercar to 62 mph in just 1.86 seconds, 124 mph in 4.76 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h). It is equipped with a 120 kWh battery and has a range of 483 kilometers.

Battista Edizione Nino Farina will be produced in only 5 copies. The price is not known, but if we consider that the Pininfarina Battista costs $2.2 million, this model could cost more than that.
