For 2023, Porsche announced the arrival of the new generation Macan, but according to the latest information, the arrival of the Macan SUV has been postponed to 2024. The reason is microchip delivery problems which, unfortunately, ruin the plans of most car companies.
What do we know about the all-electric Macan so far? Well, it will be powered by two electric motors that will produce a total power of more than 600 hp (441 kW) and 737 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque. It will be equipped with a 100 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, and will have AWD. Thanks to the fast charger, it will take 25 minutes to charge up to 80 percent of the battery. Porsche hasn’t revealed the car’s weight or range.
When it comes to power distribution, it is known that 48 percent of the power will go to the front and 52 percent to the rear axle. Porsche will also offer a less powerful version with a single electric motor located in the rear and will have RWD.
Porsche will offer the new Macan alongside the current version powered by an internal combustion engine.
