Full-size Porsche 934 sculpture sold for £201,000

Between 1976 and 1977, Porsche produced a racing version of the Porsche 911 Turbo, prepared to FIA Group 4 rules, the Porsche 934. Only 31 units rolled off the production line and a full-size sculpture of the car recently sold for over £200,000.

The sculpture, designed by Benedict Radcliffe, is made from 32mm mild steel tube and is fitted with a set of period-correct centre-lock BBS split-rim wheels fitted with Avon tyres to fully evoke the original car.

This fantastic collectible automotive artwork was unveiled at the 2022 Milan Design Week and then sent on a world tour, and has now been sold to an unknown collector in China for £201,000. The price is extremely high considering that a new Porsche 911 could be bought for the same amount.
