In 2021, Spanish startup Baltasar unveiled its first all-electric car, the Baltasar Revolt. A year later, a new version of the model, the Revolt R, was announced, but that never happened. Now the company has officially revealed that the Revolt R will be launched in 2026.

The Revolt R is an ultra-lightweight racing car that meets FIA regulations. It weighs 800 kg, which is slightly more than its predecessor. It is equipped with new sills and a rear diffuser, while the large active rear wing and front section are retained. There are also magnesium wheels with slick tires, suspension components made of carbon fiber, Kevlar and aluminum, and a single driver’s seat.

When it comes to the powertrain, the company has not released any details. However, many believe that it could be an option from the Revolt model, which is powered by two electric motors with 500 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque. Also, some information mentions a battery of unknown capacity, which will charge from 0 to 80 percent in just five minutes.

Speaking of price, the company has not announced how much the Baltasar Revolt R will cost, but it is speculated that the price could be over 400,000 euros.
