2025 BMW M4 CS

After the recently introduced new generation BMW M3, the new BMW M4 CS has arrived on the market. Lighter and more powerful than the Competition model, the new M4 CS will be road legal. Production will begin in July 2024, and it will cost 160,000 euros in Germany.

The new M4 CS is powered by a 3.0-L turbocharged six-cylinder engine with 550 hp (404 kW) @ 6,250 rpm and 479 lb-ft (650 Nm) of torque @ 5,950 rpm. Power is sent to all wheels (xDrive) via an 8-speed Steptronic transmission. With the adaptive drive, all the potential of the engine can be directed only to the rear axle. It accelerates from 0 – 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 302 km/h (188 mph).

Compared to the M4 Competition model, the M4 CS is equipped with additional carbon components, making it 20 kg lighter. It is mounted on 19″ and 20″ ultralight rims with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

On the world’s most famous circuit, the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the M4 CS was only 1.5 seconds slower than the limited edition version of the CSL. All customers who want to test their car on the track, BMW will offer special tires.

Late last year, BMW unveiled a limited edition of its new racing car, the BMW M4 CSL. It is a track monster, a powerful car, and everyone was waiting to see its capabilities on the most famous race track, the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

The BMW M4 CSL is powered by a 3.0L turbocharged six-cylinder engine with 550 hp (404 kW) and 479 lb-ft (650 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via an 8-speed Auto Steptronic transmission. It reaches 60 mph in 3.6 seconds with a top speed of 191 mph (307 km/h).

Testing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife was done by the German magazine Sport Auto. Behind the steering wheel was journalist and magazine test driver Christian Gebhardt, who completed the 20.6-kilometer course in seven minutes and 17,080 seconds. As a reminder, on the same track last year BMW team driver Jörg Weidinger achieved a lap time of 7:15.677. This means that the M4 CSL currently holds the best lap time at the Nürburgring among BMW’s road-legal models.

The car will be produced in only 1,000 copies. Now the question is, what answer is the BMW 3.0 CSL preparing, which will be produced in 50 copies, in honor of its 50th birthday.

BMW 3.0 CSL is powered by a 3.0 L inline-six engine with 560 hp (412 kW) and 406 lb-ft (550 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
