MG CyberX SUV Concept

Chinese-owned company, MG Motor, has unveiled its new vehicle, the CyberX electric SUV. It is a new concept model from the Cyber series, while the production version will be presented later.

The car was designed by Jozef Kaban who previously worked on the development of some models of Audi, Škoda, Bugatti, BMW, Rolls-Royce. The CyberX is 4.3 meters long and has a boxy profile with a clean, minimalist surface. It is equipped with pop-up headlights located on the hood above a full-length LED line, boxy wheel arches, massive tires and has a high ground clearance. Some parts are reminiscent of already known models, such as the glass on the Land Cruiser Series 300. Its size allows it to be positioned in the upper part of the subcompact segment in Europe. The company did not reveal the interior design.

MG is still keeping a lot of things secret, and some rumors suggest that the car could be built on SAIC’s new E3 platform, which means it will be an all-electric car.

The launch date of the production car is not known, but MG has announced that the CyberX will be available in the domestic market as well as in Australia and Europe, which is becoming the main market for Chinese electric cars.

BMW is announcing a new concept car

The Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este is an annual event where BMW presents some of its most impressive concepts such as the 8 Series, the Concept Touring Coupé or the Skytop. This year’s event is approaching and the Bavarian manufacturer is already announcing a new concept model, but with a lot of mystery.

What we know for now is that the new concept will be a two-seater, but it is not known on which model it will be based. All previous BMW concepts were based on existing production models, so the same is expected in the case of this car. It will have an elegant sporty design created for driving pleasure.

The secret concept won’t be the only one to be unveiled in May. At the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, BMW’s M sports division will also premiere a new high-performance car. It certainly won’t be the M2 Dakar that the company announced as an April Fool’s joke, and many believe it will be the long-awaited M2 CS.

Anyway, May is approaching and we expect a lot of exciting news from BMW.
