Spanish carmaker Cupra has unveiled a new version of the Leon model, the Cupra Leon VZ Cup, which will be offered with petrol and hybrid powertrains.
The car is painted in a shade of blue and retains the look of its predecessor. It is equipped with carbon parts such as rear spoiler, dark aluminum side skirts, large suction cups on the bumpers, four exhaust pipe ends and a copper rear diffuser. There are also 19-inch Exclusive II rims with copper details that match the Cupra logo.
Inside, sportive bucket seats are upholstered in black or blue leather with a logo on the header. In front of the driver is a 10.25-inch digital cluster and a 10-inch infotainment system screen, while the control buttons are located on a three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel.
When it comes to powertrain, the Cupra Leon VZ Cup will be offered with a 2.0 TSI engine with 300 hp (221 kW) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque. The engine is paired with a seven-speed automatic DSG transmission. Customers will also be able to choose a 1.4 TSI e-Hybrid engine with 245 hp (180kW) and 184 lb-ft (250 Nm) of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed automatic DSG transmission.
When it comes to prices, the model with a petrol engine costs 47,160 EUR, while the hybrid model is cheaper with 46,470 EUR.
