When we talk about three-wheelers, the first thing that comes to mind is the Trotter family from the sitcom “Only Fools and Horses.” Well, this time we are talking about the Spiritus model, developed by the Canadian company Daymak. This is no ordinary three-wheeler, it is the world’s fastest three-wheeler.
The company has been developing this vehicle for some time, and is now officially unveiled at York University in Toronto. The vehicle is equipped with solar charging panels, an energy regeneration system, and is charged using a wireless charger. It will be offered in two versions, Spiritus deluxe and Spiritus ultimate, and both will be equipped with Ionix Pro lithium-ion battery with AI technology.
The Spiritus deluxe will have a range of 180 miles (290 km) with a top speed of 85 mph (137 km / h), and will reach 60 mph in 6.9 seconds. The more powerful Spiritus ultimate will have a range of 300 miles (480 km) with a top speed of 130 mph (209 km / h), and will reach 60 mph in 1.8 seconds.
Daymak has set a goal to produce 50,000 vehicles by 2023. According to their information, the demand is high, which is confirmed by the fact that they have received 25,000 orders so far. The price of the Spiritus deluxe is $ 19,995, while the price of the Spiritus ultimate is $ 149,000 USD.
