There are many of us who would love to own a Formula1 car, but for most of us it will remain just a dream. What most could afford is a full-size Ferrari F8 Formula1 simulator that comes with three monitors and costs $ 54,000 (£ 40,000). One such has been put up for sale on eBay.
It was produced in 2021, which means that the design and gaming hardware are quite modern. Details and specifications about the simulator have not been released, and what can be seen in the photos are the three screens, the F1 steering wheel with controls, the keyboard and the desktop PC next to the cockpit. This is ideal for gamers who spend a lot of money on setups, deep seats, pedals and steering wheel, which still can’t be compared to the feeling of sitting in the cockpit of a car.
“Although it has professional settings, the simulator is calibrated for ‘gentleman’ drivers. Those with previous racing or simulator experience can also, however, request a professional set-up,” Ferrari said.
The simulator is currently located in a garage in Macclesfield, United Kingdom, along with sports supercars McLaren, Porsche, Mercedes-AMG, etc., and is in good condition.
Some will say the price is too high. Maybe, but it’s still affordable.
