2023 Ferrari Purosangue has arrived

For a long time, Ferrari resisted SUVs, but since the demand for SUVs was expanding, and the competition was increasing, the decision was made. Ferrari will produce its first SUV. So far, several photos have been published showing the design of the car, which the company claims will be a limited edition. Now it’s official, the Ferrari Purosangue has had its world premiere.

With its first four-door four-seater, Ferrari strives, in an efficient way, to attract first-time buyers, but also younger ones. The front grille is located low in the bumper with a prancing horse located in its central part, large air intakes on the sides and thin front daytime running lights, a suicide door, two pairs of exhaust pipes, are some of the design solutions that adorn a car that is unique, marrying Prancing Horse performance with ultimate luxury comfort.

When it comes to the powertrain, rumors said that it will be a plug-in hybrid powered by a 3.0-liter turbo V6 engine with 654 hp (488 kW) and an electric motor with 164 hp (123 kW), for a total of 818 hp (610 kW) and 546 lb-ft (740 Nm) of torque. Some even mention a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. However, it is now certain that the Ferrari Purosangue is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine with 715 hp (526 kW) and 528 lb-ft (716 Nm) of torque. According to Ferrari, it will hit 62 mph in 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 192 mph (310 kph). The engine is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox whose performance is 35 percent higher, transmitting up to 1,200 Nm in dynamic torque during gear shifts.

2023 Ferrari Purosangue debuts on September 13th

The day is approaching when the Maranello-based company will unveil its first SUV, the 2023 Ferrari Purosangue. So far, several photos have been published showing the design of the car, which the company claims will be a limited edition.

For a long time, Ferrari resisted the creation of an SUV model, but since the demand for SUVs was expanding, and the competition was increasing, the decision was made. With its first SUV, Ferrari strives, in an efficient way, to attract first-time buyers, but also younger ones. Recently, we saw the first photos showing what Purosangue should look like. The darkened image of the upcoming SUV shows that the front grille is located low in the bumper with a prancing horse located in its central part, large air intakes on the sides and thin front daytime running lights.

The car has been announced as “Heart Of A Thoroughbred,” and it’s a clear link to Purosangue. The video posted on twitter doesn’t reveal much. Only details of the V12 engine with the manufacturer’s name clearly imprinted can be seen.

Ferrari cars have a problem with the braking system, again

After last year’s problem with the brake system and the recall of over 10,000 vehicles of the 458 Italia, 458 Speciale, 458 Speciale Aperta, 458 Spider, 488 GTB and 488 Spider models, the company from Maranello this time found itself in the same problem but on a larger scale. Ferrari said it was recalling over 23,000 cars.

According to information coming from the company, the recall affects various models manufactured in 2005 and later, namely the Ferrari 430, Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, Ferrari California, Ferrari 612, Ferrari FF, Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, Ferrari LaFerrari, Ferrari California T, Ferrari F60 America, Ferrari F12 TDF, Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta, Ferrari GTC4 Lusso, Ferrari GTC4 T, Ferrari Portofino, Ferrari 812, Ferrari 488 Pista, Ferrari F8 Spider, Ferrari F8 Tributo and Ferrari Roma.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration notified the Maranello company that they believe the brake fluid reservoir cap will not provide adequate ventilation. This can lead to liquid leakage in the tank and partial or even complete loss of brakes, which endangers the safety of the driver and other traffic participants.

Ferrari said it will notify all owners of vehicles affected by this decision to replace the reservoir cap and brake fluid, free of charge.
