The Ford Mustang is an icon of the American automobile industry and is very desirable among car fans. However, one Ford model may not be popular but it is very rare, the Ford Mustang GT Hurst Edition.
It all started in 2009 when the Hurst Edition was produced for the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge. Since then, only 50 examples have been produced, and one of them is the car in the photo. This is a convertible version, and the second ever produced.
The Ford Mustang GT Hurst Edition is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 engine with 435 hp (320 kW) and 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) of torque, thanks to the Roush compressor. It is one of five examples equipped with a six-speed manual transmission. The car has only 851 miles (1,370 kilometers) on the odometer.
The car is painted in Performance white with gold lines that extend the entire length of the car. Hurst Edition is equipped with K&N high-flow air filter, Magna flow stainless steel exhaust system, Wilwood disc brake system, 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels with gold details, wrapped in 245/40 BFGoodrich g-force TA KDW tires.
Inside, the seats are upholstered in white leather with the Hurst logo, and the leather can also be seen on the door panels. There is also a specially made gear lever while the rest of the interior is identical to other Mustang models from the same period.
The Ford Mustang GT Hurst Edition is up for auction and will get a new owner on February 25th. The current highest bid is $ 40,100.00.
