2013 Lamborghini 5-95 Zagato is up for auction

Between 2010 and 2013, Lamborghini produced a lightweight and more powerful version of the Gallardo LP 560-4, the Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera. Nine cars of this model were designed and built by the Italian company Zagato celebrating its 95th birthday. One of them, the 2013 Lamborghini 5-95 Zagato is up for auction.

This car was purchased in 2013 as an LP570-4 Superleggera in Grigio Lynx, and was later finished in a special shade of yellow. It was made in a radical and avant-garde design, departed from the angular lines typical of Lamborghini. Body made of lightweight carbon fiber, revised front and rear grille, new front and rear lights, thin air intakes, double-bubble “floating” roof, unique roof-mounted scoop, give the car a unique aerodynamic silhouette. There are also unique tailpipes and a subtle carbon diffuser with a rain light inspired by Formula 1 cars. The interior is upholstered in light gray leather with contrasting yellow stitching.

The Lamborghini 5-95 Zagato is powered by a 5.2-L DOHC V-10 engine with 570 hp (425 kW) at 8,000 rpm, mated to a 6-Speed “E-Gear” automated manual transmission. It is equipped with 4-wheel independent double-wishbone suspension with adjustable dampers and 4-wheel Brembo ventilated disc brakes. The odometer shows just 1,115 miles at the time of cataloguing.

The auction will take place on August 16-17, 2024, and the estimated value of the car is $400,000 – $600,000 USD.
