The German tuner G-Power, specialized in BMW cars, has upgraded the M8 Competition. Although it is a high-performance car with 617 hp, the G-Power team decided to make it better and more powerful. The new G8M Hurricane RS and RR are part of the G-Power family.
Hurricane models come with a new turbocharger, reinforced powertrain, stainless steel exhaust system and 110 mm exhaust pipes, larger suction cups for better cooling and a larger rear spoiler.
Both versions are painted orange with a large black stripe extending from the hood to the rear wing. The interior is done in a sporty style, while the seats are upholstered in leather and Alcantara and there is also a new center console.
The Hurricane RS is powered by a 4.4-liter V8 engine with 828 hp (618 kW) and 774 lb-ft (1,050 Nm) of torque. The more powerful version comes with the same engine but with more horsepower. The Hurricane RR has 887 hp (662 kW) and the same torque as the RS, but with the same top speed of 211 mph (340 km / h). Although no acceleration data has been released, the new models are expected to be faster than the base M8 which reaches 62 mph in 3.4 seconds.
Both models use 21-inch forged wheels with 285 / 30ZR21 tires at the front and 295 / 30ZR21 tires at the rear.
G-Power has not released information on all the specifications of the Hurricane model, including how much it will cost.
