In 2024, the Italian manufacturer launched a new subcompact crossover SUV (B-segment), the Alfa Romeo Junior, and now a new version of this car has arrived. It is the Alfa Romeo Junior Hybrid Q4 SUV with the new Q4 all-wheel drive technology.

The Junior Hybrid Q4 is powered by a turbocharged 1.2-L engine (136 hp) combined with an electric motor mounted on the rear axle, for a total power of 145 hp. The new configuration includes an electric motor on the front axle, integrated into the 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and a second electric motor mounted on the rear axle, ensuring drive without a physical connection between the two axles. This optimizes torque distribution, guaranteeing excellent traction in all driving conditions.

In this case, Alfa Romeo has specially tuned the suspension and installed an independent multilink suspension on the rear axle for safer road handling. Drivers also have access to a new Q4 driving mode, designed specifically for low-grip conditions.

The cabin is enhanced with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Spiga seats with heating and massage functions, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, eco-leather and fabric upholstery, a 10.25-inch central display, a six-speaker audio system, and aluminum pedals. There are also assistance systems such as level 2 autonomous driving, a 180-degree reversing camera, an electric tailgate, and a keyless entry system with proximity access technology.
