Three years ago, Manifattura Automobili Torino introduced a modern version of the 1989 Delta Integrale, the Lancia Delta Futurista. The car was produced in only 20 units. Those who missed the chance now have the opportunity to buy a Lancia Delta Safarista.
The car is based on the Lancia Delta Integrale, with a slightly different approach. The two-tone bodywork was inspired by the Lancia Delta, which won the 1988 Safari Rally. The hatchback is equipped with new lightweight rims with carbon covers on the front wheels, red fenders at all four corners, modified bumpers and special side mirrors reminiscent of the original, and the rear doors have been removed.
The interior is bare. The driver is placed in deep seats surrounded by a protective cage with red belts at four points. In front of the driver, there is a small monitor on the dashboard. The driver has a hydraulic parking brake at his disposal.
Although not confirmed, under the hood will be an upgraded 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine with 330 hp (243 kW), probably paired with a reinforced sequential gearbox, a new differential and a main axle.
The car will cost around $ 644,000 and only 10 units will be produced.
