A unique 2015 McLaren P1 is up for auction

At the 2013 Geneva International Motor Show, McLaren launched its flagship sports car, the McLaren P1, which was produced until 2015, with only 375 examples ever produced. One of them, the 2015 McLaren P1 is for sale.

This McLaren P1 was ordered by a Qatari customer and is the only one finished in Satin Camo Green with McLaren Orange interior and brake calipers, wheel caps, tops of the rear spoiler hydraulic rams, P1 logos and badges in the same color.

The car is in excellent condition and built to GCC specifications. It is powered by a 3.8-L twin-turbocharged V8 engine combined with an electric motor for a total output of 903 hp (674 kW) and 723 lb-ft (980 Nm) of torque, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that sends power to the rear axle. It is equipped with a 4.7 kWh lithium-ion battery that provides an electric range of 11 km (6.8 miles). It reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.8 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).

The McLaren P1 is almost new and has only 130 km on the odometer. It comes with an inspection report carried out by Dragon Racing in Dubai at the end of 2024.

The auction will take place March 24 – 28, 2025 and the estimated value of the car is $1,000,000 – $1,500,000 USD.

2025 McLaren W1 Limited Edition

Recently, McLaren unveiled its new super sports car, the McLaren W1. It is a super powerful successor to the F1 and McLaren P1 supercars.

McLaren W1 is the British brand’s most powerful car powered by a new 4-liter biturbo engine (MPH-8) with 929 hp (683 kW) at 9,200 rpm combined with an electric motor with a power of 347 hp (255 kW). Total power is 1,276 hp (938 kW) and 988 lb-ft (1,340 Nm) of torque, which is enough to push the car from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.8 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 350 km /h (217 mph). Power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission with an electronic differential lock.

The car is equipped with an adaptive suspension with three work programs (Comfort, Sport and Race) that provide unforgettable fun, adaptive body components with which the level of grip can be changed. The McLaren W1 weighs 1,399 kg, which means that it is only 4 kg heavier than the P1 model, and thanks to the high-capacity carbon-ceramic brakes, it only takes 29 meters to stop from 100 km/h.

McLaren will produce only 399 units of this supercar, and each car costs 1.95 million euros. All cars are already reserved.

McLaren P1

Silverstone Auctions has announced the sale of the McLaren P1. It is the first of 375 units produced in 2013.

It was produced in response to the Ferrari LaFerrari and Porsche 918 racing models. In the construction, light materials were used to keep the weight of the car as low as possible. The body is made of carbon fiber, a thinner windshield has been fitted and many other modifications have been made so that the weight of the car has been reduced to 1,395kg.

Under the hood are a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine with 727 hp and an electric motor with 176 hp, which combined deliver 903 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. The electric motor is powered by a lithium-ion battery and takes two hours to fully charge. It only takes 2.8 seconds to reach 62 mph with a top speed of 217 mph (347 km / h).

The car has had only two owners so far. The last service was at McLaren Birmingham in 2020, and with only 3,666 miles covered it is in excellent condition.

The expected selling price of the McLaren P1 is $ 1.3 million.
