Porsche 356 Speedster restored by Porsche Santa Clarita

Porsche Santa Clarita restored the 1955 model, the Porsche 356 Speedster. It is part of the 2021 Porsche Restoration Challenger project.

The car was bought from the owner who used it as a race car for the last 50 years. The Reutter Karosserie body is painted in greenish blue with elegantly placed headlights at the front and a louvered decklid at the back.

After the modification, the 356 Speedster is equipped with chrome bumpers, shaved rocker moldings and taillights, 15 “front and 16” rear wheels painted in gold, factory exhaust pipes.

Inside, the seats are upholstered in a combination of red leather and fabric. A traditional two-spoke steering wheel and new floor coverings have been installed. The complete restoration was overseen by Galpin President and Chief Operating Officer, Beau Boeckmann.

The Porsche 356 Speedster is powered by a 1600 SC engine with 95 hp at 5,800 rpm. The drive is transmitted to the rear wheels by a 519 transaxle.

Porsche Taycan with the new TechArt body kit

German tuner TechArt has introduced a new body kit for the EV Porsche Taycan. It contains carbon fiber components in glossy black or a color of your choice.

The car uses the same powertrain as the base Taycan. For example, the Taycan 4S is powered by two electric motors with a total power of 435 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. The engines are centrally mounted on the front and rear axles. It reaches 62 mph in 4 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph (250 km / h). The 93.4 kWh Lithium-ion battery produces enough juice to cover a range of 233 miles (375 km).

At the front of the vehicle are air curtains, a front splitter and a central intake, all made of carbon fiber. At the rear, there is a multi-part carbon fiber diffuser frame and a sports spoiler that shows that it is not a basic Porsche Taycan.

The interior is done in a sporty spirit. The seats are upholstered in perforated black leather and jet-black Alcantara. Contrasting green elements and embroidered TECHART logotype can be found on the seats, dashboard and door trims.

The car uses forged aluminum Formula VI 10.0 x 22-inch (front) and 11.5 x 22-inch (rear) wheels.

Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25

Porsche has produced a limited edition race car that costs $ 620,000. It is a special model Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25 made on the occasion of 25 years of majority ownership in the company Manthey-Racing GmbH.

The Clubsport 25 is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine with 690 hp. Power is delivered to the rear wheels thanks to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Clubsport 25 is based on the 911 generation model (911 GT2 RS Clubsport). The inspiration for the design was found in the 911 GT3 R. It is painted in “Grello” color, which is a combination of green and yellow. It has a new carbon fiber hood, a new engine and brake cooling system and a large rear wing. The interior is the same as the previous model, with a Recaro seat.

30 copies will be produced, of which only 6 for the U.S., and delivery should begin early next year. The price of the 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25 model is $ 620,000 (€ 525,000).
