Feuerbach Porsche GTL Coupe based on the 911 (997) GT3

In 2019, Ferdinand Porsche’s grandson and former Nissan Europe designer Christopher Reitz founded the Feuerbach company, which announced the arrival of the Feuerbach Porsche GTL Coupe based on the Porsche 911 (997) GT3.

The Feuerbach Porsche GTL Coupe will be powered by a 4.3L naturally aspirated engine with 540 hp (397 kW). Also, the offer will include a more powerful version of the same engine paired with a 6-speed manual or PDK gearbox.

As a reminder, the Porsche 911 (997) GT3 is powered by a 3.8L 6-cylinder engine with 435 HP (320 kW) and 317 lb-ft (430 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission. It reaches 62 mph in 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 194 mph (312 km/h).

The GTL Coupe will have a carbon body designed by Reitz and will be equipped with unique LED taillights and a new bonnet instead of the base rear window, new front and rear panels, a carbon diffuser and a new bumper. It will also use the same chassis as the GT3. Customers will also be able to customize their cars.

Inside, the sports seats are upholstered in black leather combined with fabric, while the dashboard is covered in black leather with white stitching. There are also plenty of carbon parts, like the door panels.

A unique car that could attract the attention of collectors as well as those with deep pockets. It is expected to cost more than half a million dollars.

Bizzarrini 3500 GT Corsa Revival

In the mid-60s, Ferrari engineer Giotto Bizzarrini founded the company Bizzarrini, which operated successfully for 5 years, after which it ceased operations. Two years ago the company was relaunched and the first product was the Bizzarrini 3500 GT Corsa Revival inspired by the 1965 Le Mans winner.

Two years since its unveiling, the first Bizzarrini 3500 GT Corsa Revival has reached its owner. “We have an ambitious long-term vision for the Bizzarrini brand, and the 5300GT Corsa Revival serves as either an introduction, or a reminder, of the storied heritage of Bizzarrini. We were thrilled with the car’s performance during endurance testing, delivering the same adrenaline-fueled driving experience as Giotto Bizzarrini’s original design. Now, as we complete the process of building the cars for our customers throughout the world, we are refining the initial engineering and design proposals for our modern supercar. Utilizing the very latest technologies, and built in with the ethos, passion and values of our founding genius, this will truly be a Bizzarrini for a new generation,” said company director Simon Busby.

It is powered by a 5.3-liter V8 engine with about 450 hp (331 kW). It is the original engine used by the 1965 Le Mans winning model. The car weighs 1,250 kg (2,711 lb), and buyers will be able to choose between a carbon fiber and fiberglass body.

When it comes to price, each car starts at 1.65 million pounds (around $1.67 million USD).

18 golden BMW i3s for the final goodbye

At the beginning of last month, BMW announced that it was discontinuing the production of its electric hatchback i3 and on this occasion decided to produce 10 i3 HomeRun Edition. Now the Bavarian company is saying goodbye to this electric car once again with 18 golden BMW i3s.

The B-segment car was first presented as a concept in 2011, and went into production in September 2013. Since then, 250,000 cars have been sold.

“At the start of series production eight and a half years ago, the i3 was considered visionary and exotic. Since then, the compact electric vehicle has become a pioneer of local emission-free driving pleasure as well as holistic sustainability,” said BMW.

The car is powered by an electric motor with 184 hp (135 kW) and 199 lb-ft (270 Nm) of torque. It reaches 62 mph in less than seven seconds with a top speed of 99 mph (160 km/h). Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a single-speed transmission.

Last year the BMW i3 was withdrawn from the American market. The reason is bad sales results. Since 2015, sales of this model have been gradually declining, so that in 2020, slightly more than 1,500 units were sold. The car was replaced by the BMW i4 eDrive40 with a more powerful electric motor.
