BMW has announced that it is in the final stages of testing its largest and most powerful SUV model, the BMW Concept XM, whose premiere is announced for November 29th. According to BMW this is the most expressive statement in almost 50 years of BMW M.
The Bavarian company has published a photo of the XM concept model, which shows a completely new design with a large grille, thin lights on the edges, which suggest that the headlights are positioned slightly lower, bulges on the hood like those on the M3 / M4, and new bumper with large air intakes.
It is assumed that BMW’s largest SUV in the most powerful edition will be called the X8 M. It will be powered by a plug-in hybrid combination of a 4.4-liter twin turbo V8 engine and an electric motor with a total power of 750 hp (552 kW).
It remains to be seen and see what the BMW Concept XM will look like in production form, which will take the title of the most powerful product of the M department so far. It should hit the roads in 2023.
